Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions of Trade For Online Products
These General Terms and Conditions of Trade (“Terms”) form part of any contract or order (“order”) between any customer (“the Customer”) and CREED-MILES & CO LTD (“CMC”) for the supply of goods and services (“goods”). The Customer shall be deemed to be aware of these Terms and buys subject to them whether or not the Customer has actually seen them. In the event of a conflict with the Customer’s own Terms, CMC’s Terms will prevail, except as otherwise stated.

  1. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT, unless stated otherwise.
  2. Prices are inclusive of standard packing and delivery, except as otherwise stated. All packing materials and cases are non-returnable.
  3. CMC reserves the right to cancel and refund any customer orders due to pricing errors
  4. Maintenance of prices quoted in a Customer Order Confirmation and/or Invoice is only guaranteed where CMC has been advised of a delivery date by the Customer, except as otherwise stated.


  1. Delivery dates quoted in a Customer Order Confirmation and/or Invoice are estimated by way of indication only and CMC shall not be liable for any losses due to an inability to meet delivery dates.
  2. The goods will be at CMC’s risk until delivered to the Customer. From delivery all risks pass to the Customer.
  3. All deliveries should be checked by the customer promptly. If the goods are received by the customer damaged or short delivered CMC must be notified within forty eight hours of delivery.
  4. Regardless of any reason CMC will not accept the return of any goods supplied against a Customer’s order unless CMC’s prior agreement has been sought and given in writing. Any return accepted by CMC will be subject to a charge equating to 50% of the full retail price plus VAT.
  5. CMC shall have no liability for any consequential and economic loss under this order whatsoever arising.


  1. CMC will arrange for installation of the goods ordered by the Customer on request and at no extra charge, except as otherwise stated. No extra discount is available to the Customer for delivery only.
  2. Installation will be carried out by CMC’s contractors into an area fully prepared by the Customer and will include the assembly of all goods (where applicable), the removal of all packing materials and cases
  3. Under no circumstances will CMC be responsible for the removal of any of the Customer’s unwanted goods or for any services such as reconfiguration existing furniture, electrical wiring or plumbing. Any such services required must form a separate negotiation and order.

Terms of Payment

  1. Payment is required in full on placement of the order.


  1. Regardless of any reason CMC will not accept the return of any goods supplied against a Customer’s order unless CMC’s prior agreement has been sought and given in writing. Any return accepted by CMC will be subject to a charge equating to 50% of the full retail price plus VAT.
  2. Where no cost has been incurred from our manufacturers / suppliers in manufacturing or carriage charges / shipping 100% of the full amount will be refunded – at our discretion.
  3. If you need to return your carpet tile for any reason other than the goods being defective, then a restocking fee will apply set by the manufacturer as well as the price returning the goods to the warehouse. We strongly encourage you to make use of our FREE sample service on all current products* to check the tiles prior to order.   1. All of our online prices include delivery to the UK mainland. For other services and locations please call us before placing your order.
  2. You will be called 1-2 days (sooner if possible) before delivery to arrange a convenient date for delivery. Please note that outside London and the Home Counties, delivery is by round-robin and we usually visit each postal area once a week.
  3. All deliveries are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Delivery can sometimes be arranged outside these times at extra cost. Please call us before placing your order if you require this service.
  4. All deliveries must be to business/commercial premises with easy access to park and unload a van/lorry. Delivery is to ground floor only. Delivery to a residential address is dependent on access and subject to verification by CMC.
  5. If the fitters cannot gain access to the delivery location on the appointed day, a charge of 10% of the invoice value will be made for re-delivery.
  6. You will be required to sign a delivery and installation report, if you have any problems with the delivery please note this on the report. Our after-sales department will be in touch with you to discuss these problems, our fitters are not normally in a position to deal with these matters directly.
  7. Unless prior written confirmation is obtained, our fitters will not remove and dispose of old furniture. If you require this service (which is chargeable) please enquire before placing your order


  1. Enquiries received by e-mail and telephone will be responded to within a maximum of 48 hours Monday – Friday. Enquiries made on the weekend will be responded to on the following business day.

We reserve the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in the Terms or any policy or guideline of the Sites, at any time and in our sole discretion.
